LMGA Board Meeting - 5/13/25

Attendees: Tim Hartman, Jeff Brickner, Nick Jurado, Steve Morling, Gary Russell, Chip Miller, and Dave Klimek

This meeting's purpose is to discuss certain issues, such as budgets, membership status incentives for new members, tournament participation, and other business that may come up. The upcoming club championship, scheduled for May 18th and 19th, will also be discussed.

Meeting Agenda:

• Current financial update: LMGA account balance is $11,153
• Budget allocations:

• Club Championship (May 18–19): $1,000
• Member-Guest Tournament: $4,800
• Match Play: Budget under review; adjustments will be determined at a future meeting

• Membership status:

• Current number of paid members: 62.
• One member has been suspended for 30 days due to repeated non-payment infractions.

• New Membership Incentive Proposal: A $50 gift certificate for existing members who bring in new members (pending discussion and approval)
• Discussion on tournament participation: President Tim will email members to gather feedback on potential barriers (e.g., scheduling, format, etc.)
• Proposal to form a new Tournament Committee to ensure fair representation across flights—details to be finalized.
